Golden Lion House
We have lived at Golden Lion House for the past ten years, and are happy to share what we think is a lovely family home. All of our bedrooms are large, with plenty of room to relax in the evening. We can set up one room for a family of up to four (we can provide a travel cot and high chair). Parking is at a premium in Ashburton, but we have four private spaces available for guests. Double rooms with king sized beds: £80 per room per night. Single occupancy: £60
Family room: £110 - £120
Discount available for bookings of more than two nights. Debit/credit cards or cash please - no cheques.
When you arrive:
Rooms are usually available from 4 p.m., although we may be able to check you in earlier on request. All guests are asked to check out by 11 a.m on the date of departure. Our rooms are non-smoking - sorry, no pets.
Breakfast
We offer a superb breakfast, served in our lovely dining room. You can choose from a full English breakfast, with bacon and sausages from the excellent Dartmoor Butchers of Ashburton, free range eggs whichever way you like them or our home-baked bread, fresh fruit salad, dried fruit compote,organic yoghurt, porridge and cereals.
Eating Out
Ashburton has good restaurants. cafes and half a dozen pubs and wine bars all within a couple of minutes walk of our home. We will be happy to offer you advice to suit your tastes and budget.
